Philosophy argument paper will have one main theme, that of philosophy. That's where the name comes from, thinking in the abstract. They will examine and critically analyze various philosophies to see how each one is a part of one's thought process. You can use a philosophy argument paper to help you learn about a particular area of study, or to help you become a better philosopher.

 

Your student should take their ideas to the task, giving them specific examples and explaining why each one is incorrect. Do not become drawn into arguing with them, simply point out that they are misunderstanding the situation and making an incorrect argument. When all else fails, ask them if they have considered alternative solutions. These usually have a 'better' solution than either their opponents' solution or yours.

 

Students will also be required to list all the sources that support their view. This usually takes two forms.
